CompAeros Labs

Asset Intelligence for Aerospace.

CompAeros Labs is exploring how structural diagnostics, remaining useful life forecasting, and return-to-service evidence can be integrated into aircraft asset intelligence workflows. This is a research preview — not a public product. Operator and MRO partner discussions welcome.

Research preview: The capabilities described below are directional. CompAeros Labs is not a current product. Operator and MRO partners interested in exploring this space are welcome to request a briefing.

What this service covers

Three workstreams, one composite-asset record.

A connected workflow — not three siloed reports. Findings flow from inspection into life forecasting and back into repair planning, with evidence carried forward.

01

Diagnostics

Research direction — not a current service offering.

Locate damage, characterise it (delamination, BVID, fibre breakage, moisture ingress), and translate findings into airworthiness impact — not just a defect map.

  • NDI evidence capture
  • Damage classification
  • Airworthiness scoring
02

Prognostics

Research direction — not a current service offering.

Remaining-useful-life forecasts under real load, fatigue, thermal cycling, and environmental exposure — calibrated to mission profile and inspection intervals.

  • Load-history modelling
  • RUL forecasting
  • Inspection-interval tuning
03

MRO support

Research direction — not a current service offering.

Close the loop with repair planning, evidence packaging, and re-certification workflow — so the asset record stays defensible from inspection through return-to-service.

  • Repair scheme selection
  • Evidence package builder
  • Return-to-service trail

Why this exists

Composite structures need a different operating model.

Metallic-airframe inspection logic doesn't translate cleanly to composites. Damage is often hidden, propagation depends on layup and load history, and repair acceptance can hinge on evidence quality as much as on the repair itself. The goal of this research direction is to make composite-asset condition continuous, traceable, and decision-grade — for operators, MRO providers, and OEMs working modern airframes.

Operators

Tighter inspection intervals and fewer surprise removals.

MRO providers

Faster, better-evidenced repair acceptance.

OEMs

In-service feedback loops on real composite behaviour.

Status

Research preview — partner discussions welcome.

CompAeros Labs is not a current product. It is documented here to give early partners, advisors, and potential pilot operators a clear picture of research direction and intent. If your organisation works composite airframes and the framing resonates, we’d like to talk.
